Q Series NOTAM to Replace U Series NOTAM from 1^st November 2026 till 31^st December 2026

In accordance with AIC Y100/2026 and NOTAM U6768/26 the UK NOTAM series Quebec (Q) will replace the NOTAM series Uniform (U) with effect from 01 November 2026 due to the maximum allowable annual number of 9999 being reached.

1. All existing NOTAM U-Series will be reissued as a NOTAM Q-Series on 01 November 2026.
2. All NOTAM with a start date in Field B beyond 01 November 2026 will be issued as a Q-Series NOTAM.
3. All existing U-Series AFTN addresses will be replicated for the Q-Series.
4. U-Series shall be returned to normal service on 01 January 2027.
